Embraer 190 The Embraer E-Jets are a series of narrow body, twin-engined, medium range, jet airliners produced in Brazil. Announced at the Paris Air Show in 1999, and entering production in 2002, the aircraft have been a success – as of December 31, 2008, there are 876 firm orders for E-Jets and 810 options.[1] The manufacturer reports 600 units had been delivered by September 1, 2009, and predicts that by the end of 2016, another 1,112 units will be delivered.[2]
